Eagle Community Credit Union Awarded Gold Status by Newsweek as One of America’s Best Regional Credit Unions for 2026

Eagle Community Credit Union is proud to announce that we have been named a Gold Status recipient on Newsweek’s America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions 2026 list—placing us among the top-performing credit unions in the United States.

This prestigious recognition is based on one of the largest and most comprehensive studies of regional financial institutions ever conducted. More than 8,800 banks and credit unions were initially reviewed nationwide, with only the highest-performing institutions earning a place on the final list.

The evaluation incorporated feedback from over 140,000 U.S. consumers, including 66,000 customers surveyed between July and September 2025, along with responses from previous years to measure consistency over time. Participants rated institutions they were familiar with across key areas such as customer service, trust, fees, digital banking, and overall experience.

To ensure a complete and accurate picture, the study also analyzed millions of online reviews, including over 2.3 million social media reviews and more than 80 million app store reviews, alongside verified financial data from NCUA reports. Institutions were further screened for reputational and legal issues before final rankings were approved by Newsweek.
