Eagle Cares - Avoid Foreclosure
We understand that you may occasionally experience challenges that might make it difficult to meet your financial obligations.
If you're facing difficulties making your payments, the best thing to do is call us as soon as possible, especially when it comes
to your mortgage. We're here to help you find the best options and meet your goal of keeping you in your home.
Review the following options that are available to you as an Eagle member with a mortgage loan:
- Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure
- Loan Amortization Terms up to 40 Years
- Loan Modifications
- Refinance Options
- Short Sale
- Workout Loans
WHERE TO START
The first step is to contact us at (800) EAGLE CU (324-5328) if your mortgage is with Eagle CU. Then our representatives will walk you through the process of applying. The first thing they will talk about is our Balance Debt Management program. This program is offered free to members and is one of the things required before being approved for any of the options above. Learn more about BALANCE and get a head start here.
Once you apply, we will start our process of determining the best solution for your situation, as every member and situation is unique. A specific Eagle representative will be assigned to you and will work with you throughout the process.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You'll need these financial documents available when you meet with us:
- Three months of pay stubs or financial statements if self employed
- Hardship letter detailing complete hardship
- Certification through BALANCE of a completed Debt Management session
The sooner you contact us the better, as it will give you more options to avoid the start of a foreclosure action on your property.
A foreclosure action will damage your credit rating and can result in a negative impact on your ability to borrow money in the future. Be proactive!
